Unified Vendor Portal program Migration

The Vendor Portal is the one-stop-shop for Gartner Digital Market’s vendors to manage every aspect of their campaigns. Vendors use the portal to create content for their ad listing, bid for placement, collect and manage reviews, and report out on performance.

The problem.

 

Our Pay Per Lead (PPL) program was previously managed in a different application that did not have consistent access to product, design and development resources.

To bring our suite of lead generation programs into one central location, we needed to migrate all PPL functionality to the Unified Vendor Portal.

 

Role and team.

 

My Roles:

  • Qualitative Research Lead and Interview Facilitator

  • UX/UI Lead Designer

  • Interim Product Manager

  • Vendors (users)

  • Vendor Portal Product Managers

  • Vendor Portal Developers

  • Client Success Teams (users + stakeholders)

 

Design Overview.

 

In this process, I was able to:

  • Replicate all functionality of the PPL program in the Vendor Portal using the established design system/component library

  • Provide recommendations on how to improve the current PPL program

  • Release this functionality to a beta group and create a qualitative research testing plan for beta users
